Tulip Row

Finished this row of tulips for the Tulip Farm quilt. The red tulip that is second from the left kind of looks like a parrot tulip - at least that's what I was going for. What do you think?

A picture of our real tulips just blooming at 8:00 a.m. this morning.  Still pretty dark outside!

We are enjoying the progress of bulbs we planted in pots this year.  The daffodils planted in the ground are long gone, so its fun to see the next round of spring flowers.  The lilacs are blooming later this year.  Its been a colder Spring here in Cali.

Off to look for a dress for the wedding this afternoon.  Hopefully I find one so yet another think to mark off the list!  Hope you all have a great weekend, and have time to get some stitches in and enjoy some Spring flowers!

I like the curved leaves shape for the tulips. Usually, you see straight leaves for tulips.

Love your tulip block!!
I wish spring would show it's face in our neck of the woods. Sure looks pretty!!

Great block! I see what you mean about a parrot tulip. My daffies are still blooming but the tulips haven't opened yet. We've had really strange weather, though - including snow on Thursday.

Sweet block Ah, yes, that's what's different - the curved leaves - I like them, too.
We had unseasonably warm weather. Our daffies are done and the tulips have started to bloom. This week is supposed to be in the 60's so maybe the blooms won't fade so quickly.
Hope you found a dress.

I love your tulips - especially since they will last far longer than the real ones *s*
Good luck on the dress shopping. I have that on my list, too. I have been teasing that I am wearing jeans and a hoodie - The Princess knows me and is not afraid, but The Intended was puzzled and queried her if it was truly my intent. He's got a lot of learnin' *lol*

Your tulips are fabulous! and yes, I think that is a dutch parrot tulip if I've ever seen one! I also like your fabric variety in the leaves. A very special tulip bed indeed!

Most times, injection and drugs are just a waste of time and money. I was cured 3weeks ago, i suffered from HIV for 5yrs but with the help of Dr. Itua herbal medicine, I was cured within three weeks of drinking the herbs he sent to me through courier delivery service. This same man also cured my Aunt from herpes, as soon as I heard she had herpes, I referred her to the doctor and she was cured after drinking his herbs.I have referred more than 18 persons and they were all cured from their various illnesses. Have you taken herbs before?. You have spent so much money on drugs, injections, surgeries etc and yet you have no good result to show for it. This man is a herbal doctor, I assure you of cure if you drink his natural herbs.
